Q. Where are you located?
A. 6 miles West of Yankton, SD on Hwy 52.

Q. How much does it cost? / What are your fees?
A. Entrance fees and overnight camping fees both required year-round. $28 - annual entrance per vehicle and $14 - annual entrance for second vehicle; OR daily entrance of $6.00 per vehicle. $18 per night camping fee for electric site on the waterfront; $16 for electric; $40 per night for camping cabins.

Q. How can I get a site?
A. Call 1-800-710-CAMP or online at www.campsd.com to reserve cabins and about 300 campsites as early as 90 days in advance; or choose sites that are available as first come first served at the park.

Q. What do your cabins include?
A. Camper cabins sleep 4 - double and bunk bed with mattresses only - (you must provide bedding), AC, heat, lights, outlets. Fire grates and picnic table beside each cabin. No cooking allowed inside.

Q. Can I bring my pets?
A. Yes, but they must be kept on a leash, are not allowed in bathrooms, in cabins or on beaches. Control the pet noise. Pick up after them.

Q. Can I reserve picnic shelters?
A. Yes, call 1-800-710-CAMP. $11/day.

Q. Do you have volleyball courts?
A. Yes, only by picnic shelters 2, 6, and 7.

Q. Can I leave my boat on the shoreline overnight?
A. Yes if camping in the park overnight.

Q. Where can I buy firewood?
A. At the park or local businesses.

Q. Where can I buy groceries?
A. At local businesses, C-Store at Marina, in Yankton.

Q. Do my friends need a pass to come for a visit to my campsite?
A. Yes, entrance fees required year-round of a daily-$6 per vehicle or annual-$28 per vehicle.

Q. What is check-in/check-out time?
A. 4:00 p.m. check-in/check-out for campsites; 4:00 p.m. check-in and 12:00 noon check-out for cabins.

Q. Do you have any activities going on in the park?
A. Yes, the park's weekly newsletter "The Explorer" lists all activities.

Q. Can I get a guided tour of the nature trail?
A. Groups only can contact a park programmer at the park office in advance to arrange dates and times.

Q. Do you have playground equipment?
A. Yes, 7 large units located throughout the park.

Q. Do you have handicapped facilities?
A. Yes, at all bathrooms, four campsites, one cabin.

Q. Are there boat rentals, jet skis?
A. Call the Marina office at (605) 665-3111 for info on rentals.
